Waldorf Heritage Submission

The sale of the historic Waldorf Hotel to a condo developer caused an uproar city-wide. Supporters and patrons of the Waldorf feared the newly restored arts and culture hub, home of one of the last surviving tiki bars in North America, would be razed. Myself and a few keen supporters researched and compiled the first ever citizen-submitted application for heritage designation. The Waldorf achieved nominal heritage protection from the City, and still stands today.
